Eva Kautenburger is Chief Customer Officer at Matrix One, where she leads Customer Success & Supp across the full portfolio of regulatory and quality management solutions for the medical device industry. A certified I. and II. Party Auditor with deep expertise in ISO 13485, EU MDR/IVDR, IEC 62304, and 21 CFR Part 820, she brings both the technical fluency and regulatory grounding that MedTech customers need to navigate complex compliance landscapes. In her role, Eva oversees a cross-functional team of Solution Consultants, Solution Engineers and Account Managers, driving onboarding, retention, support and strategic growth for customers ranging from emerging device companies to global enterprises as well as consulting intiatives to support customers in their regulatory journey.

Since childhood, Arnaud Alberts has been fascinated by life sciences and healthcare. After earning a degree in BioEngineering, he began his career as a QA Engineer at a medical device startup, developing embedded software for prostate cancer detection using ultrasound. His analytical approach and attention to detail led to successful quality testing and the implementation of a QMS, securing CE mark and ISO13485 certification. Arnaud’s expertise expanded through clinical trials, training healthcare professionals, and collaborating closely with urologists. This experience naturally transitioned him into product management, where he guided product strategy and development. In 2018, Arnaud joined Matrix One, helping the startup as a Growth Manager, then evolved to lead the Success and Support team as well as the Product for Matrix Requirements. Today, as Chief Customer Advocate, he ensures users have an exceptional experience and feeding strategic insights back into product development.

Jonas Müller is the Head of Enterprise Solutions at Matrix One, where he partners with enterprise customers across medical devices, pharma, and biotech as their strategic technical advisor. With a background in Medical Computer Science and certification as a First and Second Party Auditor for Medical Devices, he brings deep regulatory and technical expertise spanning risk analysis, complex solution design, and quality management to every customer engagement. Jonas began his career at Matrix as a Support Engineer before progressing to Senior Solution Consultant, building hands-on experience with the technical challenges life sciences organizations face daily. He is passionate about helping manufacturers bring safer, more effective products to patients through smarter, more efficient software solutions.

Khushboo Arora began her career as a dental surgeon before discovering a passion for solving healthcare challenges through technology and innovation. After transitioning into healthcare management, she worked across pharmacovigilance, healthcare consulting, and AI-powered medical imaging, helping bring healthcare solutions from concept to real-world impact. Today, as a Product Owner at Matrix One, Khushboo leads the development of AI-driven product capabilities, collaborating with business stakeholders, engineers, and designers to transform complex needs into intuitive, high-impact solutions. She is passionate about the intersection of product strategy, AI innovation, and user experience, identifying meaningful opportunities to create value through technology. Process-oriented, detail-focused, and curious by nature, she enjoys bringing structure to complexity, connecting ideas across disciplines, and turning product vision into reality through strong cross-functional collaboration.

Youssef Barnoukh is a Front-End Engineer at Matrix One, specializing in React, Next.js, and TypeScript to build intuitive and scalable user interfaces for the medical device industry. He holds a Master's in Management Information Systems (MIS) and brings hands-on experience from a previous role as Front-End Lead and UX/UI Designer, where he led a team of five developers and architected reusable component libraries. Since joining Matrix One in February 2025, he has focused on delivering high-quality frontend experiences that support manufacturers in navigating complex compliance and quality management workflows.

With degrees in Applied Mathematics and Law and over 15 years of experience in legal and regulatory compliance, Anna has built a career focused on helping organizations navigate complex regulatory environments. Since joining Matrix in 2023 as a Junior RAQA Specialist, she has progressed to Head of Legal and Compliance, overseeing regulatory, quality, compliance, and AI governance initiatives. She is also a certified ISO 13485 Lead Auditor and leads Matrix’s legal and compliance strategy, ensuring that the company's SaaS solutions for the MedTech industry meet evolving regulatory and quality requirements.

Passionate about computing since the early 1980s, Sylvain has continuously adapted to successive technology revolutions, from personal computing to cloud, DevOps, and Artificial Intelligence. He combines strong software engineering expertise with hands-on experience in CI/CD, automation, and modern development practices. Most recently, he has contributed to regulated healthcare software, with a particular focus on design control and compliance processes.

Guillaume builds AI that ships in regulated medical settings. Trained as a data scientist at École Polytechnique, he was one of the earliest engineers at the medtech startup AZmed, where he spent four years building Rayvolve, an FDA- and CE-certified AI tool that helps radiologists detect abnormalities on X-rays, taking the algorithms from MVP to certified product and scaling them from zero to routine clinical use across 500+ medical centers in 50 countries. As Head of AI at Matrix One, he now builds AI agents and LLM-powered workflows that bring intelligent automation to the platform life science teams rely on to manage the full product lifecycle, from design control and requirements to risk, quality, and compliance.

Aman began his journey in software engineering as a Backend Developer, where he gained hands-on experience building backend services, APIs, and scalable application components. This early foundation helped him develop a strong understanding of software architecture, development practices, and the importance of building reliable systems from the ground up. He later transitioned into Software Quality Engineering, combining his development background with expertise in test automation and quality practices. Through working across UI automation, API testing, and end-to-end testing, he has focused on designing scalable automation frameworks, improving test coverage, and embedding quality practices into modern software development workflows. Today, as a Software QA Engineer at Matrix One, Aman focuses on building confidence in complex software solutions by strengthening automation strategies, test processes, API validation, and release readiness. He works closely with engineering teams to identify risks early, improve testing efficiency, and ensure that products are reliable, maintainable, and ready for real-world use. His approach combines software development experience with quality engineering discipline, bringing a deeper understanding of how systems are designed, built, and validated, while ensuring that the software delivered is consistent, scalable, and fit for purpose.

Francois started out in industrial IT before moving into medtech as a software developer at a medical device startup, building embedded software for an ultrasound-based imaging system for prostate cancer detection. After a few years running a fablab and launching small ventures of his own, he found his footing as an engineering leader. Today, as Deputy CTO at Matrix One, Francois is happiest with a dozen threads running at once: herding multiple squads toward a release, untangling a production incident, and sketching the architecture for what comes next, often all before lunch. He leads engineering across the platform, coordinating teams on core ALM features and the PLM foundation while keeping one eye firmly on the rigor the medical device industry demands. Tireless, sharp, and relentlessly collaborative, he just wants to ship the right thing, build it well, and never leave a teammate blocked.

Hans Strobel is a seasoned medical device and healthcare industry executive with over 30 years of experience spanning product management, marketing, and entrepreneurship. He holds a Diploma in Biomedical Engineering and an MBA, further complemented by a CAS in Clinical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, and QA for Medical Devices. His career includes leadership roles at global companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Roche, Straumann, and Metalor Technologies, before he co-founded dokspot GmbH — now Matrix eIFU — where he continues to serve as CEO, championing the adoption of electronic Instructions for Use (eIFU) in the medical device industry.

Farah is an Account Manager with over seven years of experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, and MedTech SaaS industries. Holding a BSc in Pharmacy from the Lebanese American University, she has built her career across leading organizations including Novartis, managing product lines, leading national launches, and delivering clinical training across the Levant region. Based in Paris, Farah brings a strong scientific and commercial background to her client portfolio, overseeing the full customer lifecycle with a people-first approach. She is fluent in Arabic, English, and French, and was recognized as a Levant Regional Training Ambassador by Novartis in 2021.

An innovation driven executive and entrepreneur, François has 25+ years of international experience in building and leading early stage technology ventures in various sectors (enterprise and professional software, IoT, SaaS, MedTech, nutrition, wellness and digital health), and opening new markets. Very creative, François is always looking for new solutions to improve user experience and customer satisfaction. Highly flexible with a great capacity of adaptation, he thrives working in collaborative environments within a global world that is uncertain and in continuous movement. François has started or been involved in several startups, setting up partnerships with distributors, integrators, OEM clients and suppliers, R&D international centers, academics and opinion leaders, as well as selling digital health solutions and medical devices to professional customers around the globe. François brought innovation at a strategic level to all companies he has been involved with whether it was at the level of products, processes or business models, and was a pioneer in implementing as early as 2011 a pay-per-use subscription model for cloud-based medical devices. More recently, François joined Matrix One to share his experience of certifying medical devices internationally with fellow entrepreneurs and innovative companies, and help them to take their ground-breaking products to market faster by facilitating their documentation and certification processes.

Cyrille Derché is a product and technology leader with over a decade of experience building SaaS solutions for the medical device industry. He co-founded dokspot GmbH - now Matrix eIFU - developing a compliant and scalable electronic Instructions for Use (eIFU) platform. With a background in computer science and earlier consulting experience at Accenture, he brings a strong blend of technical depth and product thinking to his continued work advancing eIFU adoption at Matrix eIFU - guiding clients through implementation, integrations, and workflow automations to make the transition to eIFU seamless and efficient.

Carlie is an engineer with a passion for healthcare innovation and an international background shaped by living and working across New York, Paris and Beirut. Combining an engineering foundation with a Masters in Management from Columbia University, she has built her career at the intersection of MedTech, digital health, and regulated product development. Her experience spans both global healthcare organizations and startups, where she has worked with hospitals, laboratories, clinical teams, IT teams, and engineers to support the adoption of innovative healthcare technologies. Throughout her career, she has operated at the crossroads of technology, customer engagement, and product strategy, helping organizations navigate complex product development and operational challenges. As an Account Manager at Matrix One, Carlie works closely with medical device companies to drive platform adoption and long-term success, helping teams optimize their development, quality management, and compliance processes.

Ali has a degree in biomedical engineering with a passion for applying new technologies to improve patient care. During his academic career, he recognized the importance of regulatory affairs and quality assurance in facilitating and even accelerating the market launch of products developed at the companies where he has worked. He began his professional career in Montreal, Canada, where he served as System Quality Manager at a research center and as a consultant for several manufacturers of medical devices (MD) and in vitro diagnostic medical devices (IVD). He then continued his career in France as a project quality and regulatory affairs engineer at a manufacturer of surgical robots, working on a complex product that combined hardware and software. In the summer of 2025, Ali joined the Matrix team to guide and train new users and provide them with support throughout their MatrixOne journey.

With his global perspective, the entrepreneurial-minded Louis is a recognized CEO with experience spanning strategy and business management consulting, where he collaborated with large corporations and private equity funds to tackle complex business challenges through analytical expertise. Entrepreneurship had always been on Louis' radar since his graduation from ESSEC. In 2016, he seized the moment and founded ArtPhotoLimited, an e-commerce platform specializing in iconic limited-edition photography. Now, as the CEO of Matrix One, Louis has one goal: Ensure Matrix One customers overcome the challenges within the life science industry, and help them get their innovations to market safer, and faster.

Ignas began his journey in Electronic Engineering, where early work on sensing systems and medical electronics sparked interest in how engineering translates into reliable technology within medical devices industry. That foundation led him into medical devices sector at Moog Medical Devices, where he worked closely with quality systems, validation activities, regulated environments, gaining hands-on exposure how regulated products are developed, documented, and controlled in practice. He later transitioned into software quality, and today works as a Software QA Lead at Matrix One, building confidence in complex software used by companies to design, document, and manage their products. He focuses on defining and evolving test processes, strategy, automation, strengthening release readiness, and ensuring quality is embedded throughout the development life-cycle through structured and scalable practices. His approach combines engineering discipline with a strong systems mindset – bringing clarity to complexity, and ensuring that the tools underpinning regulated product development are reliable, consistent, and fit for purpose.

Abbas Dhilawala has spent 20 years writing software for an industry where mistakes have real consequences - Medical devices and Life sciences. That context tends to make you think differently about engineering, and about what it means to ship something. In 2016, he co-founded Galen Data on a straightforward premise: medical device companies needed a better way to capture, store, and act on device data in the cloud. What followed was a decade of building from scratch, earning HITRUST and ISO 13485 certifications, and eventually Matrix One acquired the company in 2025. He's now CTO at Matrix One, where he oversees the technical direction across their product portfolio. The current focus is rebuilding core products for the cloud and shipping AI features. He also runs a global engineering team, which he considers some of the most interesting work he's done.

Nicolas has spent over a decade at the intersection of physics, engineering, and medical technology. He holds a PhD in semiconductor photonics and built his early career on complex hardware systems – laser optics, nanophotonics, and atomic clock instrumentation – before moving into system engineering for Class II medical imaging platforms. He then led product and operations for a digital health company, overseeing the full lifecycle delivery of SaMD products – from AI-powered mobile health applications for chronic disease monitoring to regulatory clearance under EU MDR, IEC 62304 and ISO 13485. That hands-on experience building and shipping regulated hardware-software systems is what shapes how he thinks about product. He's today CPO at Matrix One, where he drives the ALM, PLM, and eQMS product strategy for medtech manufacturers, with a particular focus on embedding AI capabilities into compliance workflows. His goal is to empower manufacturers to build great products with the agility of modern software tools and the rigor the industry demands.

I joined Matrix Req in July 2023 as an intern, with initial title Cyber-Security Analyst, then became a full-time employee and migrated to a role as Software Developer, while also participating in security tasks and IT management.

An organic chemist by training, I developed a deep interest in medical devices when I co-founded a startup in the diagnostics space, where I served as CSO. After four years of incredible experience, we had to shut down the company, and that's when I was first hired as a CS at Matrix.

Alex Condon is the COO of Matrix Connect, a medical device cloud data platform. He co-founded Galen Data in 2016, which was subsequently acquired and rebranded as Matrix Connect. Prior to Matrix Connect, Alex served as Chief Strategy Officer at Tietronix Software, a NASA contractor specializing in life sciences innovation. In that role, he helped commercialize technologies derived from NASA research for medical applications and supported numerous NASA projects.

Yves Berquin has always been drawn to the challenge of building software that matters. A graduate of the Free University of Brussels, he built his early career in the medical device space, he had hug knowldge in medical device field, and he worked in different roles before becoming Program Manager at Advanced Medical Diagnostics, then as CTO at SleepOnWeb where he developed firsthand knowledge of what it takes to ship regulated, life-impacting products. Having lived through the pain of paper-based quality systems firsthand, they knew there had to be a better way for medtech teams to manage requirements and documentation as the industry shifted away from waterfall development. In 2014, he and Wolfgang Huber have co-founded Matrix Requirements (which is now Matrix One). What followed was over a decade of building, iterating, and growing entirely on customer trust, no outside funding for the first seven years.

Wolfgang Huber has spent his career at the intersection of software engineering and the medical device industry - a combination that turned out to be exactly what the market needed. After earning a Master's degree in Computer Science in Germany, he spent 20 years building and scaling technology startups, including a stint as VP R&D at Advanced Medical Diagnostics and co-founder of NeoMed Software. That experience gave him a deep understanding of both the technical complexity and the regulatory burden facing medtech teams. In 2014, together with Yves Berquin, he spotted a gap no existing tool was filling: medical device companies needed a smarter, more flexible way to manage software requirements and quality documentation as the industry moved from waterfall to agile. So they built it themselves bootstrapping Matrix Requirements (which is now Matrix One) from zero to a globally recognized leader.
